Feng Shui for The BLACK Yin Water Rabbit

Have you been wondering what is to be expected as we transition from the Yang Water Tiger year to the Yin Water Rabbit Year? Are you getting confused as to what to do and what to expect? Here is your no-nonsense Feng Shui of 2023 practical guide to the New Energy.

Let's start off with a question - What Is Feng Shui? The Chinese words "Feng" and "Shui" translate to mean “wind” and “water," respectively. This concept is derived from an ancient poem that talks about human life being connected and flowing with the environment around it.

What we do as we transition from the energy of one year to the next is by studying how we can best use the wind and water in our internal and external environment. The exchange of wind and water with our environment is by way of our breathing. We are sharing the energies of our work and home environments by breathing in and letting go of that wind and water.

The philosophy of feng shui is the practice of arranging the pieces in living spaces in order to create balance with the natural world. The goal is to harness energy forces and establish harmony between an individual and their environment. In Asian culture, this philosophy is called the Tao, which translates to mean “the way." Taoism is the way of nature and all the basic principles of feng shui reflect nature. Take a look at the essential principles of feng shui: the commanding position, the Bagua, and the five elements. This is the map of the wind and water for the year.

What does it mean for us in the year of the BLACK Yin Water-Rabbit.

Enter the Yin Water Rabbit with its never-ending quest for peace and tranquility. This year will be a major shift from the energies of the Yang Water Tiger- external environments to the now Yin Female inner workings of the Rabbit.

We are welcoming in the energy of the BLACK Yin Water Rabbit in 2023 and this means that it is auspicious to cleanse your home to welcome the new fresh peaceful energy by using oranges or wild orange essential oils and cleaning the surfaces in your home.

This year I am recommending bringing the year in with a Meditation to create some time for Peace and introspection. The energy of this whole year will be around creating and cultivating feelings of Peace and inner work. The Rabbit loves peace, it is a great peacemaker and is diplomatic in nature.

On Chinese New Year's Day it is important to bring in the year with fresh clean energy to welcome the Water Rabbit. Chinese New Year Day is January 22nd and all your Feng Shui Cures must be in place prior to Chinese New Year's Eve. The lucky stone for the year is Jade.
