If you hear the words Feng Shui and go straight to the feeling of confusion and not even sure where to start…you are not alone.
How many true Feng Shui and Energy Masters do you think there are in the world anyway? Not too many…so no judgment if you just don’t get it.
Frankly, if you don’t want to “get it” and wish to spend a lifetime learning this complicated layer upon layer study of Eastern Chinese Medicine energy practice and want to feel well in your space, The Feng Shui freedom technique is for you.
The best part is that it isn’t based around fear like so much of Feng Shui has become in order to sell shiny gold pigs, weird-looking statues of dogs, or those electronic cats swinging their arms back and forth at the front entrance of your business or home. No, you don’t need any of those things to enhance the energy in your home or office.
The first step in creating freedom in your life is to let go of something, wouldn’t you agree? Right now let go of all you have ever learned or haven’t learned about what Feng Shui is and let’s start at the beginning.
Energy cannot be created or destroyed. It can only transform from one shape or move from one place to another. Energy flows through air and water and is exchanged in the same way. Are you with me so far? Ok good.
Now, knowing that energy flows where attention goes if we aren’t paying attention to the energy (in your body, your business, your space, your marriage, etc.) how do we know where the energy is going, how it is flowing, or what it may be transforming into?
You guessed it, you don’t.
Feng Shui literally translates into “wind and water”. It is simply the study of the flow of wind and water and paying attention to how both wind and water flow through your space.
Yes, the space where you are right now. Look around. What do you see? What or how do you feel in your space? What do you want to manifest this year? What would you like to feel like?
So why should you care about this flow of energy in your space when it has nothing to do with you? Especially if you don’t believe in it or even want to find out about it.
Ok, take a moment right now wherever you are, and take in a breath of air, hold it inside your lungs for a few seconds and gently let it go.
You are breathing that air in your space all day every day. It is entering your body, feeding your lungs, your blood, that oxygen is carried to your brain and all of your organs. The quality of the air and the flow can quite literally affect your health because you are the end product of the end result of the air and water around you entering your space constantly.
This is why you might hear that the most important Feng Shui related areas to be concerned with at home are your bedroom where you sleep and your dining room where you eat. That is correct. You might also have heard it is important to create flow in your office, at your desk, or in your business or the way you are facing at your desk is important. That is also Correct information.
Hang on, take another moment and reflect back to when you first learned what your body is mostly made up of. Do you remember?
Yes- water. The air you breathe and the body in which you are residing is 100% affected by the environment. This goes for yourself for the rest of the ones you share space within your family, your business, your job. Now you know how and why all people places and things are affected by their surroundings.
If you haven’t heard or understood this before, you are not alone. This is possibly the very first time it is being explained in this way so you “get it”. I am feeling you having Aha moments as you absorb this information.
If we have ever known before, it has been glaringly obvious over these past two years that we become what we exchange through the air. The air carries all sorts of energies, bacteria, viruses, and a host of positive things as well that I’ll get into in a moment.
In the late fall of 2019, we all remember the time prior to masks, mandates, and vaccines…ahhh what a time. The energy quite literally in the air was shifting from earth energy to something as Chinese Metaphysical Practitioners, Astrologists & Feng Shui Masters like myself like to refer to as the time ruled by the Metal Element.
The past two years were both ruled by this metal element, starting with 2020 the year of the rat- what comes to mind when you think of a rat? Spreading of disease? Something you just cannot trap or understand, sneaky and dangerous. Can even eat through…you guessed it Metal.
Ok, so this all happened. Then we entered 2021 another Metal Year of the OX which represents slow, strength, and sturdiness. In many respects, the energy was strengthened and the disease, definitely not cures- let’s call it understood a little..let’s move on.
I didn’t mention yet that in Chinese Medicine, the Metal element rules the Lungs, skin, and large intestines. Sparking an interest in this energy stuff yet?
This year as we transform from the energy of Metal, ruler of lungs we are moving into a year ruled by the element of water. Water in Chinese medicine is responsible for kidney, bladder, detoxification, and elimination of toxins. Water also represents emotions, rushing of energy, actual tears and cleansing/elimination of old hurts and things that do not serve us.
If you are holding something in, aren’t feeling well in mind, body, spirit or just feel something isn’t right, pay attention to that. Your gut feeling doesn’t ever steer you wrong. Reach out for help, join a supportive community of like-minded allies and find positive outlets to create the freedom to express yourself. Write, keep a journal, express gratitude, and spend time in quiet meditation exploring your inner guidance system, which I call your Inner Mentor. This Inner Mentor is your energy guidance system. You may find something you have held inside impossible to keep caged up. Let it out, it creates freedom and room for expansion.
Enter the water tiger. Now layer the energy of the tiger. The tiger can bring fast, quick-moving energy where last year may have felt more stagnant or slow. The tiger can bring fierce competition, courage, quick moves, and wild energy. It can also bring projects quickly to fruition so get to those projects you started in the past 24 months or so.
I do not share this information to spread fear. As a Reiki Energy & Feng Shui Master, I know how dangerous that can be. Instead, I share ways for you to move from fear to freedom when you read the endless articles sharing how this year will be “dangerous” or “fierce”.
Because the year will bring what it will. The real question and the only one that needs to matter to you is whether or not you are paying attention to what you can do about it. Shrink back in fear? No, we have had absolutely enough of that. How about taking your peace back and creating freedom, flow, and room for manifesting health and happiness in your mind, body, spirit, and space this year?
You have the power to direct the flow of energy in and around your space. It’s time to take your power back.
Om Ma Na Pad Me Hum – the 6 true words that transform fears to freedom, negativity to positive, and stagnant energy to flow.
